Rio today announced a strategic partnership with VAIO Computers and Electronics. The partnership brings Rio's home network security to VAIO customers and extends Rio's reach to a global audience.

What it means for VAIO customers
VAIO customers can protect their laptops and every other device at home with the Rio router:
- Device approval. No new device joins the network until you approve it in the Rio app.
- SecureRooms. Split your home into up to 16 separate rooms, so a weak smart gadget can't reach your laptop.
- Rio VPN. Encrypt the traffic of the rooms you choose, with a year included.
- Guest Wi-Fi. Visitors get online without touching your devices.
Your laptop is only as safe as the network it joins.
